1-Listen to this dialogue between Ahmed and Charles:
Charles: Do you know what time it is Ahmed?
Ahmed: Yes, my watch says nine o’clock.
Charles: When did Frank say he was coming?
Ahmed: He said he was coming before nine.
Charles: I hope he comes soon, he told me that he wanted to help.
Ahmed: And he does, here he comes now.
2-listen to the use of “say”:
Frank says he is coming soon.
I am coming soon.

He said that he wasn’t angry.

No, she doesn’t tell them that she s busy.
She tells them she isn’t busy.
Did you tell me that you were hungry?
No, I didn’t tell you that I was hungry.
I told you that I wasn’t hungry.
